OLED Design Contest

First International competition of ideas based on the utilization of the OLED devices as a new lighting source.

The first edition has been started on March 2006 and it has been ended on June 2006. It had the primary target to inspire the interest of light designers and architects community because they will be the first future users of these cells.

The excellent results of the 2006 contest have demonstrated that there are a lot of possible application scopes, from the signage to the accessories, from internal design to traditional lighting luminaries.

But the most challenging part of the job is to research a complete new application that is able to exalt the OLED features.

Actually, the PPML has launched the second edition of the competition that has the aim to research all the possible applications in a more restrict market field.
